Your Mission

As an application software engineer in Sentient, you will play a key role in developing our products from early prototyping to production and aftermarket support, ensuring reusability and user-friendliness. You will develop control functions and perform testing across multiple levels – from simulations to in-vehicle testing for validation. Your knowledge and experience will contribute to the organization’s further knowledge-growth to ascertain delivery of high-quality products with lean processes.

In this role, we’re looking for someone who takes responsibility and approaches challenges with curiosity and initiative. You have a problem-solving and a get-things-done mindset. You’re adaptable, valuing collaboration and humility, which makes you an excellent team player. With solid understanding of embedded systems, you have a genuine passion for working in a technology-focused environment. Your broad technical knowledge and holistic perspective allow you to see the bigger picture and contribute meaningfully to the team’s success.

To thrive in this role, you should have a master’s degree in engineering or a related field. You are highly competent in one or more of function development, control engineering, motor control, vehicle motion control; and you are skilled in using Matlab/Simulink. You’ll also need a valid driver’s license (B or higher). You are fully proficient in Swedish and English.
